Serena resides in Oregon where she plays with puppets at the animation studio, Laika, working on their latest film, "Wildwood".

Her creative work often pulls from a variety of life experiences - from growing up as a child of Chinese immigrants in the Midwest, years working in tech support, to designing for tech and mobile gaming. When not working, she is usually looking for new places to go camping, or building mechanical keyboards.
